En plein air is a French expression which means "in the open air" and is particularly used by artists to describe the art of outdoor painting.  It is in this style that I invite you to “come, take a walk in my boots” and experience some of my adventures through my paintings created on location or “en plein air”.

Gouache is an opaque watercolor.  Each painting has been sealed with either cold wax medium or matte spray varnish to protect it from the elements and allowing it to be framed without glass, similar to how oils are framed.

Painted on basswood, birch wood slices, ceramic disks, or canvas with a magnetic backing. 

The ornaments range from 3.5 to 5 inches in diameter and are approx. 1/4 inch thick, varnished with Gamvar and come with a jute tie to hang with.  They can be used as ornaments or can be hung anywhere where you'd like a little art to brighten your day, all year long.

The magnets are 4" square, are stretched on canvas and have a magnetic back.  They can be framed and hung, set on a mini easel for display on a shelf or can be hung on a metal surface such as a refrigerator.

Modern Metals are printed using a dye-sublimation process on a 1/16" aluminum sheet and come unframed but mounted with a float mount, ready to display as soon as they arrive.
