www.artistinnature Julie T. Chapman is an outstanding wildlife artist. I love to look at her work. She has a very cool website and puts out a monthly/quarterly "artzine" that is always full of great info. I am excited to say that I will be attending her 2008 workshop!! I can hardly wait, I'm sure it will be a lot of hard work but one of the most rewarding experiences!

Virgil Stephens What can I say, another outstanding artist whom I have the privilege of owning some of his prints. I absolutely love them. I have emailed back and forth with is wife a few times and she was great! Very genuine and personable people.
www.portraits4you.com Karen Patton at Portraits 4 You is an excellent portrait instructor. I have learned so much from her. Her seminars book up fast, so, if you're interested, I would contact her soon. Be prepared for several days of intense painting that is very worthwhile!
www.ddent.com Painter's Corner is the studio/shop of Dorothy Dent. She is the reason I started oil painting three years ago. She is an excellent landscape artist as well as instructor. She is very patient and knows how to teach everyone from beginner to intermediate levels. Painter's Corner offers a variety of instructors/classes as well as supplies there. I have learned so much there, I highly recommend it! If you'd love to learn to paint wildlife or western style paintings....sign up for a class with Peggy Dyke. She is an excellent instructor and a "ball" to just sit and "shoot the breeze" with. Thanks Peggy for all you've taught me!
www.missouriwildlifeartists.com The Missouri Wildlife Artists Society. They have some beautiful artwork here. I've had the pleasure of meeting a couple of the artists at a demo in the Bass Pro Shop "superstore" in Springfield, MO a couple of years ago....it was great!
Mid-Missouri Fine Arts SocietyOur club finally has a website!

www.cheapjoes.com Cheap Joe's is another great source for supplies with good prices.
www.jerrysartarama.com I get a lot of my portrait brushes from Jerry's Artarama. Their shipping isn't quite as quick but I can get brushes there that I can't find elsewhere. If you need it in a hurry, you may want to pay extra for express shipping, however, their customer service is excellent and makes up for the shipping.
www.wildlifeartmag.com This is a great magazine that always has a lot of information as well as some beautiful artwork.
www.artistsmagazine.comThis is a great magazine that always has a lot of information. This magazine covers several types of media, not just painting.
Paint America The Paint America Organization has two different competitions. They have the Paint America competition which I'm "tickled pink" to say that I was juried into the top 100 of, in their very first year. My painting, "Ya hear what I'm sayin'?" which was of a team of Missouri Mules was chosen as one of two paintings to represent Missouri. Words cannot express how excited I was! This competition is designed to promote the beauty of our 50 states. In 2007, the Paint America organization started the Paint the Parks competition. This competition is hoping to fill the void left by the ending of the infamous Arts for the Parks competition.
EquestA great equine site with lots of information...check out the Equine retirement mural project that they are sponsoring.
